People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Wow, I hadn't seen a bumper pool table on the show in years. They used to be offered a lot more often.

Time Is Money was quite, shall we say, interesting. First of all, Kathryn didn't beat the ten-second buzzer. Should she have even had a chance at the $20K? She also asked before the second chance round if she had to "get 'em all right". Drew repeated the question, said "yes" quickly, and seemed to smile condescendingly. Then the audience stared laughing and Drew started laughing. She then asked "Why is that funny?". I thought that was a great question, and that it was rude of the audience, and especially Drew, to laugh at the first one.

Then there was the mistake on the show's part, and the awarding of the $3,534. Fair.

I would have lost the Lincoln showcase bidding against Kathryn, by the way. I bid $48,000.

....and seemed to smile condescendingly.

It's the contestant's responsibility to understand how to play the game they're given. If she didn't know what she was doing (and boy, she was totally clueless), she should have asked questions before beginning the game. Her whole scatter-brained act had me rooting against her the entire time.

But she did ask the question before the second round started. The gameplay is different in each round. Maybe she thought that she would at least get something for getting some of the prices correct. It just seemed to me that the laughter was laughter at the contestant for what I thought was a reasonable question. That would be rude in my book.

I'm pretty sure this is not true at all. Let's say she had them all correct, but a bit "outside" the 10 seconds...would they have given her the 20K? Standards and Practices may want to have a chat with you here.

The fact that the contestant wasn't sure about "one at a time" implies the explanation was not on point. This leads to my suggestion (again) for this game. Rather than make a contestant "race" to move the items, have a bag with all of the items in it for the contestant to place.

Meanwhile, here's what I don't get. That Lincoln is really nice....like REALLY, REALLY nice. But it is buried at the end of a showcase like it is a Ford Fusion. Really...close youe eyes, listen to the description and it's like they never offered something nice. So, why offer it AT ALL!

You think the show is in budget mode at this time , and BOOM , they come out with a Lincoln during the showcase.
This is also the 1st $60,000+ showcase offered since the Halloween show 2015.

Kathryn should NOT have won any money on Time is Money. Sometimes luck is on your side.

Also, that showcase with the Lincoln was super expensive. I would’ve lost by a few hundred dollars, as my bid was $50,118.

I liked the crossword theme for Cover Up.

I had a bad feeling that the pizza oven was the most expensive pick for Manoel; instead he had to pick his (almost) namesake's prize and fall into the trap.

Kathryn is probably the most undeserving winner in Time is Money's short history; she did everything Drew specifically told her NOT to do.

A Lincoln in the Showcase? Where did that come from?

What did Drew say for her to not do that she did? I FFed that segment on the DVR recording (due to preconceived notions about Time Is Money), and so I didn't get everything.

Thanks-- just wanted to know! Apparently, she did what Drew also says for players not to do with Race Game and Bonkers.

Is it bad that I always either FF or mute Time Is Wasted? My confession: I hate it more than that That's Too Bad or Stack the Losses.

Not a huge fan of "Time is Money".  The game itself is okay, the concept is decent, but it doesn't lend itself for audience play along, nor home viewer play along it seems.

It's rare it seems too, but I may be quite mistaken, that it's either a $20,000 win or $0.  Not too often you get wins in between but I don't have a list of comprehensive statistics to back up that claim either.

That being said, I'd rather them play a grocery item game than not.  I like that they had a GP game and a SP game too.  Seems many shows now they are unable to have both due to additional time constraints.

Time is Money doesn't have the same play along ability of say Grand Game or It's in the Bag, but I like that it brings a different concept to the show. You could say other timed games like Race Game, Switcheroo, Clock Game (definitely since it shows the price on the screen) and Bonkers aren't play along games either.

I believe we see a GP and SP game together in a show more often than not. They can work around the time constraints using the quick games and playing car games that don't take as long to play or only use 2-3 small prizes, plus ediitng.

Timed pricing games are still play along (except of course for Clock Game). You just think of the order before time runs out or before the contestant beats you to it.
