Intro Titles
« on: June 30, 2018, 11:42:09 AM »
I’m looking for some info on the intro title cards shown inside the light border from years ago, specifically phrases that were used, and the font used.    I want to duplicate the effect for an event I’m working on.

I know I could go through YouTube and find some of them, but was hoping that nugget of info existed already compiled.... and this is certainly the place to ask.

Thanks in advance!

The fonts are Windsor Demi and Cooper Black

Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

Jay Lewis has a ton of the opening titles set up to randomly appear at the top of his TPIR recaps at Qwizx.com.

As for specific combos, I can remember a few off the top of my head...

"Sit down!"  "Get comfortable!"  "You're in for a treat!"

"Lean back!"  "Relax!"  "Forget your troubles!"

"Money!  Money!  Money!"  "Prizes!  Prizes!  Prizes!"  "Fun!  Fun!  Fun!"

"Surprizes!"  "Prizes!"  "All sizes!" and its alternate, "Surprises!"  "Prizes!"  "Contestants of all sizes!"

"Lots of laughs!"  "Lots of loot!"  "Lots of fun!"

Thanks for the help.

With the info here and a borrowed light border graphic from this website I was able to get the effect I wanted.    This is for a church camp.   The kids play games daily and we thought it would be fun to frame it as a game show.   While the games are more like Double Dare than PIR, I get to design the graphics, so I get to do what I want.   :-D  These graphics will be live on the IMAG screens so it looks pretty neat for the audience.   I even have "the microphone" for the host to use.     Here's what I came up with... what do you guys think?

Looking good, although don't forget the first two titles just disappeared and didn't spin back out - only the third one did.  :-D

In fairness, they changed that in 2008.
