Actually, yes. This is the most times balance game has been played in a single season.

Good choice going with the cash in Spelling Bee. $3000 is a nice prize in my book.

I would have won in Bonkers on my first try. i knew the first digit in the price was higher than 6, and then I just went with the odds on the others. :)

Bonkers offered the 2nd most expensive prize ever in that game , missing the record by a few bucks ( $9980 )

$9,980 is about the highest it could realistically get.

I would've taken the money in Spelling Bee as well. That's always a nice consolation after missing out on two SPs.

I'm on mobile; don't hurt me

"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Mikayla was on FIRE in Bonkers today. Moving quickly and still didn't win. What a disappointment!

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

Quite-- however, at least she played to how you're supposed to play it (not checking with your friends or dawdling, or other silliness; Drew's big on such things, and for good reason).

Mark was a real joy. I loved his complete excitement in the showcase - "That's my boat!" A shame he overbid, but at least he got $4k for his troubles!
