2 for the Price of 1 Question
« on: June 25, 2018, 12:34:15 PM »
When did they start giving the total price of the two prizes (the 3-digit prize that had to be priced and the larger prize that would be won if the correct solution was given)? I've watched many episodes in which it never happened, and I feel that giving the total would give a better idea on the value of what was being offered.

Don't have the exact date (Early 2000s if I'm right), but it oddly started not too long after I questioned why was the total given away in Safe Crackers, but not in 2 for 1. First time I started to believe the staff on the show read the board and paid attention to what we said.
"Audience, if you're scared buy a dog!"
