In the first post in the now-locked thread Big Doors during the games..., the space where a username would be is completely blank.  Is there any reason or significance behind that?

Fun fact: Evelyn Wong, the 5th person to be called on the first show (9/4/72), was actually the very first contestant to directly be called to come on down!  The original first four (Sandy Flornor, Paul Levine, Connie Donnel, Myra Carter) were individually told to stand up, and then, as a group, were invited to come on down.

I believe that user was banned. The blank space might have something to do with a forum software update at some point.

It's an account that no longer exists. If you notice, the post from that user is from 2006... longer  before we went to the current forum software.

The link to the account still works.  It looks like it belonged to Brandon Bridges, who was indeed banned years ago.

It must be a bug. If the account really was deleted, there wouldn't be a user profile, and the username would be black (or the color of regular text, regardless, it wouldn't be clickable).
