My takeaways:
- a $58 loss on Check Game? That’s gotta hurt.
- everybody was on Fred’s side. Even I was chanting “Fred!” at home.
- as soon as Fred Bid $34,000, I knew he had horribly underestimated

That was a very close win in Card Game! I would've written that check for $2,100 and I would've had it! And Fred? I would've bid $45,000 on that showcase and well, the results would've spoken for themselves.

Almost a perfecto perfecto in Master Key ... had to make do with the clothing on the first key, but the second was the Master Key and all was well with this game.

A "perfecto perfecto," BTW? That's when the contestant finds the key that opens the car lock and then the second one is revealed to be the Master Key.

No matter ... as well played as can be.

while I'm glad there is the sporadic luxury car in SCs, they could not be more transparent with the SC theming when these occur.

Next step: start playing every Big 3 once every 6-8 weeks, you dicks.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

When Fred bid $34k, I pretty much expected a garf.  $34k doesn't even fully cover the BMW alone, although it gets close.

I'm a little surprised neither of the delayed episodes had a trip to the Sonoma Wine Valley.  When was the last time one of those was given away, anyway?  I've seen Napa a few times recently, but I don't think I've seen Sonoma since the fires.

Somebody please remind me why these airings were delayed, and when they go to summer reruns?

Has it ever *not* been the case on Time is Money that every one of the three options contains at least one product, and none has more than two?

^To the second question, I recall a 1-1-3 scenario, but something always goes in each bin.

I'm on mobile; don't hurt me

"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

Somebody please remind me why these airings were delayed
The episodes shown on June 25 + today were delayed due to having a trip to Puerto Rico (Hurricane Maria) , the episode shown on June 29 was due to a trip to St Croix (The name of the hotel was omitted for air , but the name of it was visible in closed captioning)

That's when the contestant finds the key that opens the car lock and then the second one is revealed to be the Master Key.

I've always thought in that situation the thing to do is cut right to the master and forget the car key.

It's tough to get excited about tools and a sofa after you just won a car.

7/3 is a rerun; 7/4 is new (the July 4 special); after that, it's all reruns except for 8/21, when the episode that was supposed to air on 6/20 will air.  (There is a separate thread speculating why.)

I am guessing the new season starts 9/17, as that is when the primetime Emmys air (they are on Monday this year because it's NBC's turn and it doesn't want to give up one night of football).

4 out of the 6 games played on this episode were all games that were taken out of the rotation and eventually we’re brought back

Fred is just the latest example of how important your position in Contestants' Row is.

I thought that the Card Game playing was rather easy -- they seem to have a lot of Hyundai Velosters on the show as of late, and they're always kinda cheap cars. I thought $19,000 right off the bat.

It was also today that I realized how painful it must be to recap Time Is Money in a text format.
I didn't get called down, but the guy next to me did
