Gladys Knight crushed it. She was awesome.

The headline on this morning's New Orleans Times-Picayune simply said: "Super Bowl? What Super Bowl?"

Fast overnights: Super Bowl LIII drew an average 44.9 rating nationally, a decline from last year's 47.4 for Eagles-Patriots and the lowest since 2009's Pittsburgh-Arizona contest (42.1). In New Orleans, the no. 51 TV market, the game had a rating of 26.2, half of last year's 53. The other half were at the French Quarter having their fun during a "no watch" party.

In Atlanta (DMA rank 9), where the SB LIII was played, the rating was 49.1, up two points from last year's game. It was the seventh highest rating among the 56 metered markets. A rare bumper crop for affiliate WGCL. In Boston (DMA rank 10), the rating was 57.4 while in Los Angeles (DMA rank 2) it was 44.6.
