Sure, but Atlanta has been paging Drs. Pierce and McIntyre of late, and their defense (nothing but zone defenses) has been porous. Steelers are giving three. No candy for Atlanta.
The Georgia Lottery's slogan is "Today could be the day." In my case, it's "That'll be the day."

Pittsburgh is having their way with the Falcons right now. The analysis--correction: autopsy--on sports talk radio here tomorrow should be interesting.

Atlanta’s 34-29 victory over Tampa Bay had a crazy ending, but the overtime of Chicago-Miami takes the cake. A yard away of ending the game and Miami fumbles the ball back to Chicago??

Wow, and yet Miami still won 31-28 in the end. Just bizarre 8-O

Washington’s scoop-and-score off Dallas QB Dak Prescott was a near mirror image of what happened the last time CBS aired Dallas-Washington (12/13/1992). Quite possible the score will be the same (20-17 Washington).

All signs point to Blake Bortles being benched for the season.

I stand corrected. He is starting next game. Why, I have no idea.

Probably because the Jags haven't seemed to have a clue ever since Coughlin was out as coach.

Atlanta makes no trades at the trade deadline yesterday, but they do acquire free agent Zane Beadles (OG, previously of San Francisco, Denver and Jacksonville). He’ll plug the hole left with Andy Levitre and Brandon Fusco out for the season.

Nice win for Atlanta against the Redskins. Ryan throws four TD passes and Julio Jones scores his first TD this season.

Much needed win for the Falcons as well given the difficulty of that division.  Based on the overall standings it looked like they'll fall short for the postseason, but I think Matt's good game and Jones finally scoring might be the thing that could get them going.  Not to their 2016 level but I think they'll have a chance all the way to Week 17
