Meanwhile, the Redskins' midseason collapse into disaster continues as expected. They're tied atop the division but it feels like they're already eliminated from the playoff hunt. Even if they somehow limp into a spot, they're going nowhere barring a small miracle.

The division is so bad all but the Giants are still in.

NFC South is now between New Orleans and Carolina. Drew Brees is on cruise control, so I see the Saints taking it.

The swirling and gurgling sound coming from the toilet is the Falcons’ playoff chances. Really pathetic game vs. Baltimore.

Chicago Bears' chances of clinching the NFC North are fading a little bit after a heartbreaking loss to the Giants, and the Giants would have won more comfortably if not for the onside kick (which the rules were changed this season). I wonder how Odell Beckham Jr. is feeling about this...

Bears and Vikings are the only two teams in the run, so Chicago is clearly still in it. Packers are bad and Lions are pathetic (as usual).

McCarthy is out in Green Bay after losing to the lowly Cardinals. Long overdue.

Also, the Rams have clinched their second straight NFC West division title. I'm wondering if anyone in L.A. is taking notice of them right now...

How many people in Los Angeles even care about the NFL? The Chargers are also good, yet they can’t fill a soccer stadium.

Redskins lose another QB. Mark Sanchez is now the man. Yikes.

Good thing they play in a bad division, so playoffs are still possible.

Kansas City clinches a playoff berth; New Orleans claims the NFC South title; Aaron Rodgers passes Tom Brady for most consecutive pass attempts without an interception.

And Miami scores the game winning touchdown with no time on the clock left with a few laterals along the way. They still have a shot to win the division and a Wild Card berth but it will be the hard way. Some are calling it the Miami Miracle today.

Seahawks beat the Vikings last night on MNF 21-7 even though Russell Wilson had his worse game since entering the league in 2011.  Hawks were only up 6-0 late in the 4th but blocked a Viking FG then scored two TDs to put it away.  Seattle "D" had a great gameplan and should have gotten a shutout. Hawks are now almost a lock for a wildcard berth.
