1988 version of Wipeout to appear on Canada's GameTV

This is the first time this show will be seen anywhere since USA Network aired it over 25 years ago.

Now, if we can just see the John Davidson version of Hollywood Squares, personally, I'd be set.

Don't hold your breath on HS (Davidson).  Cross-ownership issues between Sony and CBS-Paramount are keeping all versions of HS off American TV until further notice.

In addition, there are music rights issues as well due to the once per show "Musical" clues allowing JD to be the "Showoff" he couldn't have been when he was a Marshall        semi-regular.

Citation needed. Especially since GSN's never had issues running the Marshall or Bergeron versions in the past.

Now if GameTV can also get their hands on Anything For Money and Make Me Laugh (Bobby Van), which USA also reran in the '80s.

While we're at it...why not Couch Potatoes and Every Second Counts as well (both also owned by CBS)?
