The Cover Up win was fun to watch. Outside of that, just a very blah episode, capped off with a nasty DOB. But we take the bad with the good.

Not that good of an episode overall, but it was nice to see a dollar in both showdowns

You can't help but feel sorry for Ronald, who had a $5,000 leeway, but stopped too soon.

The minute Johnnie picked the coffee, I knew right away that it was a loss.

Nicole played Cover Up just as well as it could be played.

It always stinks to see a show end in a Double-Overbid, but the dollars in both SCSDs were a nice treat.

Not sure why Ronald stopped at such a low amount in Card Game, Mini Coopers are always over $20,000.

Bad decision for sure picking the instant coffee in Hi Lo. The antacid and cheese were obvious choices, but I would've picked the cereal over the tape for the 3rd product.

Very well played Cover Up!

This was the fourth taping I attended with my dad during the week we were in Los Angeles. We had just come out of the September 21st October 23rd November 13th taping and there was room for us to attend the afternoon taping as well along with some others from the morning taping as well. Candace was in line behind us for the morning taping with her mom and sister however her sister decided to pass on the afternoon taping. I caught up with her as we were leaving and she mentioned the reasoning behind her choice in Push Over had to do with some numbers that meant something to her. Johnnie was the calmest out of her group of friends. Her friends Teresa and Lisa were so into the show and full of energy it was entertaining to watch them in the audience I can't imagine how they'd react to being on stage. Johnnie was given the coffee as a consolation prize. A lot of us didn't think it would be that inexpensive.

Thank goodness that man in front of Anna's husband knew what he was talking about or else it could've been very embarrassing had he been wrong!  :D  I had seen that TV offered either on one of the shows the showed in line or in an earlier taping and I made sure to listen for the size and specifications and told her husband I thought it was $1,500. I didn't make it on as a contestant but I was happy to have helped Anna with her winnings.

$2500 is a pretty nice amount to win in Punch-A-Bunch. I’m glad the contestant was able to get that amount (at least) after passing on it after her first punch. It got me thinking: Wouldn’t that be a nice amount to raise the prize to for getting $1 (in one spin or a combination of two) during a Showcase Showdown? The current amount hasn’t changed since the 1970s, and $2500 is 10% of the top prize, just as $1000 is of the former top prize.

I would support that adjustment. :)
