When was the last time someone lost on the second pick in Grand Game?

^November 8, last year.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

I was shocked that the cake mix was more than $4.50 in price. I was thinking that it would be the shampoo and the detergent that would be the two bad choices.

Also, the blocks in Eazy az 1-2-3 were placed in the exact opposite order today.

I’m surprised It’s in the bag had not been played yet. I doubt it’s retired though. Anyways good show. Was Eazy an 123 played last week that’s odd nowadays. It’s not the 90s anymore when that game was played like every week

What is with these grocery games lately? Yesterday in Hi/Lo somebody lost by picking $1.29 Taster's Choice coffee, and today in Grand Game it was $5.49 cake mix that did the contestant in. I was fooled by the prices of both items. I hope that they're not using these items on purpose at the contestants' expense.

I was between the scooter and accessories being the most expensive prize in Eazy, but the grill was definitely the least. Not very well played, I wonder if he thought the 1 block was for the most expensive prize and 3 for the least.

Evil Grand Game using that expensive cake mix. I'm sure most people would've selected that.

Tougher Bargain Game today with the washer/dryer having the higher bargain price, but it was pretty clear the washer/dryer would be considerably more expensive.

Why do you have that $10 figure in red on the Grand Game part of the report? It makes it seem like the player lost that $10.

I've always done that. It's usually not an issue because most people don't lose until after the 1,000.

Good point! I guess I should take it to mean that the game stops right there, but that the player still wins $10 (or $1 or $100).

Is it just me, or was all the background music really quiet today (think music for Easy as 1-2-3, intro for Grand Game, and the SUV cue in the Money Game, for example), at least compared to usual?

Speaking of Check Game, nice to see a win, and a very close one at that!
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

If it dropped to zero, I'd put 0.00 in there.

Close Check Game win.  Unfortunate Money Game loss with making a bad pick at the end.  There have been a lot of 9th player wins lately.
