That was a well-deserved Dice Game win!

I would've said $5 for the cooking spray, or $3 for the Marie Callenders.

Spinning on a .75? Yikes. I can understand spinning on a .60 or .65, but .75? No, just no.

Unless if you really have the courage to improve your score, I would have stayed on a .75. I wonder if the studio audience reacted to his decision negatively, as a few contestants who spun on .75 met with disapproval and I think at least twice got .25 and won $1,000.

That is true-- however, the odds are against you, as they apparently were against Brock.

In fact, the only time when you're supposed to spin at 75 is when it is not enough to get to the leader (tie or surpass), and you have to spin again.

Several years back, a mathematician / statistician worked the averages; and claimed first contestants basically had to earn a score of 80+ to essentially guaranteed a Showcase position, thus spinning on anything less than 80 was encouraged, if you really wanted a Showcase slot.

Well, then that person was wrong.  Every analysis I've ever seen states that the first player should spin on 65 and stay on 70.
