I am going to ask a question that may very well be blasphemous: Do you think the Plinko board is rigged to ensure a loss or is it just a ridiculously long streak of tough luck? I have my opinions but I'd just like to get yours.

Hey, they should be able to afford 50k every once in a while to make us happy, right?

Perhaps a variation that would be more budgetarily feasible would be making them $10,000 (rather than $50,000) each, and then add an element (as they did with one of the shows where they had a prize in a slot) that once a slot is hit, that slot changes (in this case to a $0).

Still a better chance of getting the advertised $50,000 top prize (since even on the 5th chip you still have more than one $10,000 left) but not as costly overall as the idea you had originally.

If your opinion is anything other than "The Plinko board isn't rigged," then your opinion is wrong.

According to this YouTube video (posted by Brenda herself), this was her third appearance as a contestant. Have we had any other three-timers?

I doubt it since they only allowed contestants to be on again after 10 years in 2007, so that's only one full year that the rule has been in place.

Can't seem to find appearance #1 but this appears to be #2: http://www.qwizx.com/tpirepguide/?p=1875#.XDqCSh5Ok0M

It likely helps a ton her name is hyphenated because of maiden name searching, which is often nigh-impossible otherwise for female contestants.
