Big money Plinko falls flat again. A lackluster show overall, but at least we had a couple of wins and Ryan gets to have dinner with Drew.

True that, and I would've done much better than Terri did in Plinko. I'm not saying that I would've won more, but I definitely would've earned all 5 chips. Plus, I would've won that trip to Greece in a heartbeat in Double prices! Other than that, I'm definitely glad that Amie not only won a car in her game, but also won her showcase outright! Now it's on to 2019, and hopefully, someone will break the dry streak in 3 strikes!!!

Second straight “3 Strikes” contestant who could see what they were pulling out of the bag before they actually did.

Another Plinko, another disappointment.

They might have to do something about the new ball drawing mechanism at some point in the future if people keep pseudo-cheating with it.

And hey, while we're at it, let's get rid of the 0's on the Plinko board.

3 Strikes requires fixing immediately. Drew shouldn't have to police people during playings.

How awkward would it be if Ryan declined the dinner prize?

I like Plinko, I really do, but this run of bad luck on big money Plinko games really highlights how it can go wrong. Likewise with 3 Strikes, for when the contestant draws more strikes than they had chances to guess a number, it's a miserably unlucky playing.

That opening really set the mood of the show to me, unfortunately. It was really too bad.

Decent show, but certain things that dragged episodes down last week happened again today. Once again we get Plinko for a gimmick amount and once again it crashes and burns. Will they only stop after someone finally hits the center slot when they do special amounts?

And of course there was 3 Strikes having another problem with a contestant trying to drop a strike ball before Drew caught them. I'm not sure if she was really trying to switch the ball or Drew was just being extra vigilent, but it's definitely a problem.

How awkward would it be if Ryan declined the dinner prize?
I'm guessing Drew wouldn't be heartbroken.

On an unrelated note, does anybody know when the “3 Strikes” logo started lighting up letter by letter for the first time like it did today?

I noticed that too, but it was with its Christmas week playing.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Hello folks this is my first post. Today's show was too sexed up to me.
Plinko always fail when they do the big amounts. I kinda wish they would stop!
Double Prices shud been won.
3 Strikes was horribly played. The need to do somethin about that bag because people will try to cheat alot in that game with the bag they have now.
Pick a Pair was too close of a call! That Popcorn was 3.99. Glad he rebounded on the 2nd try.
Range Game was a close call also. She almost waited to late to push the button.
Switch was a total crapshoot. I was wrong on not switching like today's contestant.

Overall a blah show. Hopefully 2019 will even be a better year than 2018 was.

You have to get incredibly lucky to win anyway.  Even if you know the exact price right out of the gate and never guess wrong, you only have a 3-in-8 chance of winning the game.

I think it's funny that she actually won $150 less than she would have with the normal amounts.
