Just days after the death of writer D.C. Fontana, another "Star Trek" legend has been lost.

Robert Walker, Jr., an actor perhaps best known for his role as the title character in the original "Star Trek" episode "Charlie X" (which, BTW, was written by D.C. Fontana) has passed away at the age of 79.

Ron Leibman, perhaps best known as Rachel's father on Friends, passes on 82; he had a long and various career for decades, in such disparate-seeming works as Norma Rae and Zorro:  The Gay Blade
