That was a very... unusual strategy in Secret X.

Jennifer had no idea how to play Secret X. Won by sheer luck.

Time is Money and Gas Money had excellent wins. It’s a breath of fresh air for games that have experienced bad luck recently

Putting that free X in the middle of the left column was pretty stupid of Jennifer.  She won by pure dumb luck.
Glad to see another full win in Time Is Money though, and nice Gas Money win too.

I wonder why the 8000th episode tie-in wasn't mentioned on the taping calendar.

I'm a little surprised they still allow placing the free X in a non-corner space.

I'm also a little surprised they didn't offer anybody a chance to win a walk-on part on TB&TB.

Somebody refresh my memory: when was the last time somebody won $16,000+ in cash (or for that matter, $20,000+ in cash/prizes) in their pricing game and didn't spin the wheel last in their SCSD?

Also, just in case anyone is interested in such details, the entire episode aired in the Pacific time zone; CBS cut into Trump's press conference in progress just after it ended.

Why would they prevent you from doing that?

Bob would talk contestants out of putting the free X in one of the middle spots whenever one tried to.

Excellent Lucky $even playing along with the perfect Time is Money and Gas Money playings!

Indeed. Bob would flat out say "Are you sure?!" while the audience groaned, leading the contestant to quickly change their mind.

But the current powers that be aren't the kind to try to nudge the contestants out of making obvious bad decisions.

(FWIW if I were in charge one of the changes I would make is to black out the middle left and middle right square, or put O's in them or something.  Not just to prevent today's situation, but to make it clear that the win has to involve the secret X even if Drew only explains that it's "just like tic-tac-toe.")

The wins in Time is Money and Gas Money were top notch.  Chasity was the fourth contestant to win the full $20K in this game.  I would have done the same product placement she did too.

When I heard the car had paint and fabric protection in Gas Money it usually ends in a weird number.  I had the car pegged at $16K.

When I heard the car had paint and fabric protection in Gas Money it usually ends in a weird number.

I would have lost because somebody wasn't paying attention and they broke one of their established pricing game best practices - every car in Gas Money since May 12, 2014 has either ended in 0 or 5.
