To completely wipe out in Switcheroo is always a downer (as is to lose It's in the Bag on the last GP), but that Money Game was a great win indeed.

32 was pretty easy as the choice for the last two numbers in Money Game. It's typically not the season number and the other choices besides 50 were too high.

Tough losses in Switcheroo and It's in the Bag. I was thinking 1 or 3 for the car in Switcheroo. For Bag, the last bag was a total toss-up between the cereal and floss. I was thinking the floss could be $2.69 also. The cereal was probably inbetween the price of the relish and floss.

  • Double Prices is the BEST game.
Was anybody else thinking of Joseph with that $1,969 ARP for IUFB #2, or was it just me?
You know you're desperate for an answer when you look at the second page of Google.

What the hell kind of floss is $4.99? That's insane. But also very sad. Everyone in the audience thought he had it, only to be greeted with the most expensive case of floss I've ever seen. It must have gold fibers in it or something.

I wonder what the probability of a complete wipeout on Switcheroo is? It also doesn't help that she left the hair dryer alone, even when none of them were right.

And I also went over on both showcases. Darnit.
Yes, I still use VHS. But I've switched to recording the show in HD with a capture card.

It turns out I've been missing a lot over the years.

Since the last win in IITB ( 11/03/15 was the date ) and today's playing , Darrell is only the 2nd contestant to go for the $16,000 and lose in this span ( both times , ironically , were lost because of cereal )

Perhaps it's that it is a >> 43 oz. << container of floss?  Given how light floss is, that must be a year(s) supply! ;)

But seriously, some of those Glide flosses are pretty expensive (I remember them being in one of the drugstore sales at around $3 as a sale price, with $2 or so of that back in their rewards, plus probably a coupon in that week's paper, but if that is a sale price, the regular price being close to $5 wouldn't be far fetched).

Well, I guess that goes to show you how little I know about an individual container of floss -- I get mine in the gigantic multi-pack at Costco.
I also just remembered that I personally would have put the floss in the 49˘ spot. Which would be a wipeout.

I should pay more attention next time I go to the grocery store.

It's not the show's fault nobody knows how to actually play the game...
"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.
