Drew every time before Check Out is played: "PeOpLe WiN tHiS gAmE aLl ThE tImE!"

Seriously Drew, it's time to stop that. Looking at Qwizx stats, dating back to season 44, that game's been won 12 times and lost 23 times. With today's loss, it's now 24 losses. So in the last 36 games of Check Out, that game has a win percentage of 33.3%. This game does NOT get won all the time, Drew. Someone in the production team needs to get into his ear so he can stop saying that stupid catch-phrase every time this game is played because it's gotten old and annoying.

Absolutely no shame in the bail-out on Punchy, I would've done the same. Check-Out was painful, it seemed the contestant actually had at least some clue as to the prices of the SP's.

$69 overbid. Yikes. That difference is both painful and hilarious at the same time.  ;-)

On a serious note, I really felt a DSW coming on solely based on the fact that neither bid was < mod 250.

And I do agree that Lucky Seven is being played too much.

Wow, I was afraid of seeing the $10,000 slip being revealed after the bailout. However, it's now the second-highest amount, so I'd stop at the $5,000 too. So no Bryan moment this time...

The other big highlights were the :wsd: in the Showcase round and the one-shot win in Line em Up.

No, Drew, people do not win Check-Out all the time. In fact, Check out is a game where you can be doing so well and get absolutely screwed over on the last item, which seems to be a defining characteristic of most playings.

Lucky $even seems to have been set up for a loss, with two high numbers followed by two low ones.

Punch-a-Bunch: Where's Bryan when you need him? Oh, well. $5k isn't anything to sneeze at, and frankly, that's one value you should always stop on. Finding one $5k slip means that there are six cards that meet or exceed that value left, and 43 cards lower.

Line 'Em Up: awesome! I have personally never seen that happen before.

WSD: ouch.
I didn't get called down, but the guy next to me did

I would consider giving $5000 back if I had three punches left (of course, in this show's case, the contestant only had two), even though I would end up with less 2/3 of the time. $5000 just isn't what it used to be.

I get that Drew is trying to encourage the contestant by telling them that people win Check-Out all the time, but he should probably back off a little with that.

I agree that Lucky Seven is overplayed.

And somebody else needs to get with the person/people who write the cue cards so there will be no more cue cards with the direction to say that thing about people winning Check-Out all the time-- I don't think it's entirely Drew's fault here.

A more open ended sentence such as "If you know enough about these grocery prices, you have a good chance to win that prize" or "You don't even have to be exact, just be within $2.00 of the actual prices" might work.

Either one of those would work-- each one is more in the spirit of the rules of Check-Out than what Drew currently says!
