It's been that kind of show. No one has upped green at all, resulting in Martin, Jacob and Jacklyn to be here all show. Only one can escape, two are headed to Lopatcong Overlook, New Jersey. Could we have a green six-for-six day?

Strange show today. Green was perfect, a contestant was in the bathroom when called, and a shoutout about global warming/climate change.

Also, people still don't seem to understand Magic#.

Big  :boo: to Garet turning his SCSD shout-out into a mini-sermon on global warming. Regardless of whether one agrees with him or not, politics have no place on The Price is Right.

the Bathroom incident here made me wonder, whatever happened to Patricia Bernard (and i say that semi-jokingly)

- Bathroom incident
- global warming sermon (which, thankfully, I zoned out during)
- two perfect IUFB bids AGAIN
- all six green sections won (wonder when that last happened)
- a contestant losing Magic Number even though the lower bound was $1,200
- Martin budding $1,150 when Drew Carey explicitly said to bid less than $1,150

This is one of the weirdest episodes in recent memory.

It certainly was! I've tried fruitlessly to find video of that Apr. 1988 moment that had Rita Scott called down under similar circumstances to Patricia in 1976 and Tara earlier.

Only one other time, in 1992, has all six contestant came from the same podium. I believe it was the red one. Bob called the other three contestants "The worst bidders ever!"
"Audience, if you're scared buy a dog!"

Fun episode. Green being the winning color, a contestant in the bathroom, and the climate change shoutout were all positives in my book.

It's a shame about all the game losses though.

Fun is not quite what I would've called it. I called it weird in chat. Bizarre might be better. I don't remember ever  recapping such a strange episode.

I never thought I'd ever live to see an episode like this, with two perfect bids, a green sweep, and a Patricia Bernard moment.

Also, an $18 loss in Magic # is a very painful thing to see. Personally, I would've stopped at $2,000 and called it a day.

Of all the crazy that happen in today's show, We had back to back new shows with at least 2 exactas during IUFB's. The last time that happen , I don't know exactly.

Man, just this weekend I was reminiscing about that episode where all six contestants came from the same spot back in 1992!  Before posting here I didn't know why I did but then I read a post that referenced Buy Or Sell & how it's missed (Buy or Sell made its debut right around that time)

While it's such a longshot, it's still amazing that an IUFB sweep has happened once prior to today after 45 years of 60-minute PIR (though there have been several close calls)

I got a laugh out of that and when he asked if there was a prize for those three contestants for staying in contestant's row for the entire show.  IIRC they even had the DSW effect for that moment in history (accidental of course)!

As mentioned, not many winners but strange episode I agree!

Don’t turn a non-partisan game show into your personal soapbox. I watch to see contrstants play, not preach.

Today, I found another incident from 5/16/2000. It only recently surfaced earlier this month, and it's a bad quality potatocam recording, but it's worth a watch:
And here is the Trina Scott incident, present in trailblazer91's compilation of TPIR moments.
Of course, the Patricia Bernard incident is easily available and is the most infamous of the four.
I didn't get called down, but the guy next to me did
