So sorry to read about this.  Does anyone know if Barker uses a cane or walker in or outside of his home?  Unfortunately, I know a few folks in their late 80s/early 90s who say they don't need those walking aids and refuse to use them.  There is nothing wrong with using a cane or walker if it helps prevent falls which can be very serious for this age group.  All the best Bob!

It doesn't appear that he uses one (that we know of)...
Either way, this doesn't look good...

That's so rough. I hope he gets better soon.

I can only hope that these are unrelated bits of bad luck rather than a sign of anything worse.

I don't understand--what makes you say this?

I'm sure this is only temporary and that all will be fine for Bob.

It's one of several falls he's had in the past few months and he's 95 now. I hate to say it but it's not going to get better for him at this point.

Any 90+ yo who has bounced back from one nasty fall, is fortunate. Usually, falls and age are not a good mix. Falling 3 separate times, and recovering is testament of the toughness in someone that old. Seems the only thing that will eventually bring Barker down is tide and time.

Unfortunate to hear about Bob falling again.  Sending well wishes for a quick and full recovery.
