Can you give us a description of what happened in the Transylvania showcase? It sounds interesting. (And people like it when you include details in your recaps!)

Johnny: "Our story begins in a dark castle on a hill where our tourists (JD&H) are checking in thinking that it's a friendly hotel. The desk clerk (Johnny as a Vampire!!!)-a rather gruesome little bloodsucker-ignores them completely. And so to gain his attention, The girls complain about everything. Starting with the darkness of the lobby which they purpose to cure with a collection of lamps.

"... Next, they demand to see their sleeping accomodations and the desk clerk gleefully shows them his personal choice (a fake casket)...which do not please the girls at all and as one tourist bleeps abuse on the clerk, Her friends roll in their personal choice..A new brass bed.

"... And now it's time for recreation and the girls want to know if they could use the castle moat, the desk clerk panics and grabs one tourist (Dian) asking why anyone would ever use the moat? But rather than spell it out, Our girls choose to show him they have plans to water ski behind this ski boat.

"... And this showcase in which the idea of going outside in daylight is too much for our desk clerk (Johnny turns into a rubber bat!!) can be yours if the price is right!!"

Thanks for filling us in, edmojautis. Care to tell us about anything else in this episode that plinko2000 left out?

I've got this episode, and I think this may have actually been from 1984. That's what the copyright date at the end says.

(Or maybe it's just from really early in Jan. 1985.)

According to the FAQ, Nov. 19, 1985.

As for the date thingy...hmm. Maybe HairMetalLives knows something about this ep. I don't. (I got my copy from the same trader, BTW)

Any time Gscentral.net lists a different date for a game's debut or retirement than we do, it means that Gscentral.net is wrong.

Yes. Great recap! Like when the recappers include the music cues. Let's you "feel the show" a bit more. Do have one thing to ask though. What exactly did the contestant have to do in the tennis version of On The Nose?
