One of my goals was to visit all 50 states and DC, which I completed last June.

     What did you think of South Dakota?  Have had to live there for most of my life and other than the Black Hills, it's deadly boring IMO.

     Favorite interests of mine:  imaginative fiction (SF, fantasy and a little horror), classic game show clips, music (everything from old rock and country to jazz, new age, and classical), and pharmacy technology (currently work in a bank, and would leave in a flash if I could).

South Dakota was a drive through state. I did have breakfast in downtown Sioux Falls, which seems like an interesting city. Most of the rest of the drive was flat and boring, until you get to the Badlands. It’s not as dull as Nebraska.

I was surprised they had slot machines at gas stations.

     Yes, video gambling seems to be a thing here.
