New Topic Button Missing in Some Sections
« on: March 19, 2019, 01:45:17 PM »
I just logged in today, and I'm seeing that the New Topic button is missing in some sections like The Talk is Right and Out in Left Field. What gives? Is there some sort of maintenance period that I didn't know of beforehand, or something else?

I see the same thing. I wonder if it has something to do with the return of "The Review is Right" section. Maybe someone meant to make just that forum closed to new threads but accidentally made it so all fora were closed to new threads instead.

I was just about to ask same...apparently the only sections available for new posts are the Tech Support and TPIR Videos forums.

Tech Support is quite obvious, but it looks like YouTube got a hold of the video collection.  :-D

It’ll be fixed once an admin logs on. I’m sure the wrong button got pushed somewhere along the way. :)
Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

^ Well, I don't know. The Front Office, The Review is Right, The TPIR recaps, and both forums of the Play Along section are still sectioned off to "the rest of us". :) Maybe they're supposed to be?

Those sections are supposed to be that way, yes. Post permissions should be properly restored for sections in which you should have them.
