Was this just a day or two after Janice's fall?  Bob says, "Janice has a little touch of the badness today, and so Kyle is going to be with us."

I remember watching these episodes back in '87 and Kyle ended up being there for weeks while Janice recovered. 

Wonder how hard the show tried to conceal what had actually happened to Janice.  And if the studio audience who was there the day of the accident was told to keep quiet about it?

Janice's camera incident didn't happen until the show that aired October 7, 1988.

Got it.  Thanks for that correction.  Three decades ago and my memory was faulty. 

I guess Kyle filled in briefly in '87, then for a longer period in '88 after the accident. 

Wonder why they didn't make her a permanent model when the show eventually went to four models?  Kyle was great.
