This show had lots of mean setups, especially in Punch-a-Bunch (at least that game avoided a wipeout, but Gridlock! didn't).

And it also had a win in That's Too Much!; that's always a great thing to see.

Typical budget mode episode, with TTM some how saving it from being really a terrible show. Outside of Switch?, no game was set up for a win (V-O-P a possible exception), with the double zeroes in Gridlock and expensive Portugal also being nasty traps. SC2 was the better showcase from a contestant's perspective, and it was good to be won. While not the most exciting part of FL to visit, that should be a good escape from the Windy City during the colder months and Lake Michigan will enjoy the company of a new ski boat. SC1 was pretty much about as cheap as it gets nowadays.

TTM is rarely won.  You'll likely only see 2-3 wins out of 20-25 times the game is played each season.  Today was one of them.

That's the 7th win of the season for That's Too Much. It is right now boasting a 7-11 record. It went 7-18 last season, 5-23 in season 45, 8-22 in season 44, 5-24 in season 43, 5-25 in season 42, 4-16 in season 41, 6-29 in season 40, 5-30 in season 39.

So I'd say that 2-3 wins is definitely wrong.

I’m sort of surprised the last show before the NCAA break wasn’t a basketball-themed show (ergo, one where a “Final Four”-themed Showcase was offered. Maybe there’ll be one the week before or something.

In the past the Friday show before the Final Four had a basketball theme including tickets to the Final Four in the Showcase.

The show this coming Monday was taped on March 10, so it’s possible it could have a tournament tie-in.  It was pretty obvious by that point which teams the top seeds would end up being, so some of those schools could be involved in some way — assuming there’s any mention of the tournament at all.

EDIT: Nevermind.  The show tweeted out a promo for a baby shower special airing Monday.  I don’t keep up with specials. :P
