Steven Strasburg is totally awesome baby!
This will be the 5th World Series this decade to go the full 7. The 2011 Cardinals beat the Rangers at home. Then the last 3 game 7s in the World Series have been won by the road team. In 2014, Madison Bumgarner, the goat postseason pitcher, got a 5 inning save on just 2 days rest to power the Giants over the Royals. In 2016, it looked as though Aroldis Chapman had blown it for the Cubs but they beat the Indians in extra innings anyway. In 2017, the Astros defeated the Dodgers as Yu Darvish choked and Charlie Morton came up huge. Greinke vs Scherzer tomorrow. I assume all pitchers expect Strasburg will be available to pitch tomorrow night.
