Is anyone surprised that the Nationals are up 2-0? I though for sure that the Astros would take at least one game in the early stages of the Series, but it looks like Washington will end up stealing the trophy from them. However, we still have the next three games in the nation's capital, so Houston has a chance to ruin the party.

From the employment line, Phillies get Joe Giraldi as manager; Padres hire Jayce Tingler as manager.

Astros' GM Brandon Taubman was fired for comments in front of female Sports Illustrated reporters about pitcher Roberto Osuna, who served a 75-game suspension for violating the league's domestic violence policy.

Well this will go at least 5 games now that Houston has taken Game 3 on the road. So far every game has been won by the road team.

We have a series now with the Astros winning game 3. The 1996 Yankees are the last team  to win the World Series after losing the first two games.

The people who came to see the home team in this series sure got their money’s worth.

Scherzer vs. Cole tonight. Will Washington keep it interesante or will Houston truly make it look like Yankees-Braves in '96?

Well as of right now, the Astros are up 3-2 and they could win the World Series title at home tonight. So far though, all five games of the series have been won by the road teams. Is this the night where the cycle is broken? We shall see.

Sure would hate to be a TV set owned by a Nationals fan.

Dave Martinez is the first World Series ejection victim since Bobby Cox 23 years ago.

Despite the ejection, this is going to a Game 7 tomorrow night.

Steven Strasburg is totally awesome baby! :) This will be the 5th World Series this decade to go the full 7. The 2011 Cardinals beat the Rangers at home. Then the last 3 game 7s in the World Series have been won by the road team. In 2014, Madison Bumgarner, the goat postseason pitcher, got a 5 inning save on just 2 days rest to power the Giants over the Royals. In 2016, it looked as though Aroldis Chapman had blown it for the Cubs but they beat the Indians in extra innings anyway. In 2017, the Astros defeated the Dodgers as Yu Darvish choked and Charlie Morton came up huge. Greinke vs Scherzer tomorrow. I assume all pitchers expect Strasburg will be available to pitch tomorrow night.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

This is the first time ever the first six games in a postseason series have been won by the road team.  Not just in MLB, but also the NBA and NHL.

Houston is favored, but by now it's proven the odds don't mean squat.
