Similar to the hard-fought best of seven 1992 National League Championship Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves.  Going into the 9th inning of game 7, the Pirates were winning 2 to 0, they were three outs away from returning to the World Series after 13 years, and the Braves came back to tie the game.  Then, with two outs, the Braves stunned the Pirates to win the game and the series.

Boy do I remember that. Andy Van Slyke's throw from right field was on the mark but Sid Bream slid in just under the tag. Skip Caray's radio call of that is legendary.

The Dodgers take a 2-1 lead in their series after a 10-4 win in Washington. A seven-run sixth inning turned the tide.

Tampa Bay still shows a pulse, clobbering Houston 10-3 in game 3 of their DS.

9 innings won't be enough to determine whether Atlanta will move on or St. Louis will force Game 5.

Going back to the 404 (actually the 770). Cards nip Atlanta in 10.

So two out of four teams won't clinch. It's now up to the Dodgers who have a 1-0 lead early or the Yankees whose game is coming up.

Yadier Molina had both the game tying hit and the game winning sacrifice fly. Totally clutch. When Yadier Molina's Hall of Fame case gets debated, I think you have to give serious weight to what a clutch player he's been throughout his career.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

And with Washington forcing Game 5, three teams will not be opening the champagne. The Yankees are the only team now who can do this.

The Yankees are ALCS bound.

Minnesota has lost its last sixteen postseason games, thirteen of which at the hands of the Yankees.

Man, when are teams going to learn not to throw pitchers on short rest?

And now the Rays have forced a Game 5 in Minute Maid Park.

So now it comes down to the endless possibilities that unfold in the NLCS as we go to the NLDS Game 5:

Dodgers-Cardinals
Dodgers-Braves
Braves-Nationals
Cardinals-Nationals

So many intriguing matchups, but just this once, I'd like to see Washington advance for the first time in team history, and for its opponent, I prefer St. Louis over Atlanta.

And the entire Braves pitching staff have completely collapsed; a postseason record first inning ten runs allowed.

That was so bad of an inning the game should be on Cartoon Network.
