As I revealed in the chat room, I am the person who played Master Key. Long story short, my $970 bid for the last IUFB came from the headphones in Safe Crackers on the show that aired a week ago. And I intuitively knew that most people pick the "inner" keys (keys 2-4) in Master Key, so I intentionally went for the outer keys. You can imagine my excitement when those two keys were the car key and the master key  xlx xlx xlx xlx xlx xlx xlx xlx xlx xlx.

Here's a long blog post about my experience:

https://stoseontpir.blogspot.com/2019/04/taping-2-taped-2819-aired-41519.html

And just so you all don't think I'm only trying to plug a week old blog, here's something I didn't post on that blog: my copies of all the paperwork CBS gave me (with personal identification blacked out):

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JLtXrZAMcHH2wR7yHAaCb2dgPVuV6bG_/view?usp=sharing

The reason CBS whited out #2 in the list of prizes is because the headphones were the play along at home item. CBS has to assign that to someone who was on the show, so they pick the person whose IUFB it was. But of course, I don't win an extra pair of those headphones.

I'm happy to answer any questions people might have. Enjoy!

P. S. Go Sharon!!

I should have put two and two together when you had the ARPs for me and a good explanation to the heritage of your last name.

Good show today. Sharon had a heck of a run today , leading to her winning the showcase.
Congrats to Brian, a LFAT of this site , for not only getting called on down , but winning a car.

By Sharon winning IITB, the game has been won twice in a season for the 1st time since Season 43
Brian is also the 1st contestant since 11/04/2009 to pick both the car key and the master key in the same playing ( FYI: they also picked Keys #1 and #5 in that playing as well )

Holy cow, Brian! Awesome job on Master Key! I really liked how you muttered "I love this game", and then picked both the car and the master key, something that apparently hasn't been done for about 10 years!

Really great show today. This is the best I've seen in a while.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

For those of you who wonder about such things, the episode did air in its entirety in the west, which surprised me a little; I expected at least a mention of the Notre Dame Cathedral fire, especially after the spire toppled. And I can only imagine what would have happened had there been a trip to Paris offered.

Speaking of which, somebody keep an eye out for a repeat or two popping up in the near future, although I seem to recall saying pretty much the same thing right after the Napa/Sonoma fires, but  no episodes were moved because of it.

One of my favorite episodes in a long time.  From 86 year old Sharon winning "It's in the Bag", an excellent playing of Master Key by Brian (Congrats man!), and Drew's slip when calling Rachel - April.  A good time all around and I felt like it had the feel of one of Bob Barker's episodes "back in the day".  I hope there are more of these to come!
Contestant - May 2, 2003 and played One Right Price - Won trips to Montreal and Mazatlan!
