Well, the bad news is that we sadly didn't get a car win in the pricing games today. How lame is that? :-(

However, on the bright side, John made a nice recovery by winning a car in the Showcase after losing at Cover Up!  :-)

Another piece of good news is that Jarmonica has won $10,000 at Grand Game, with another $1,000 at the Big Wheel; I do hope that she spends her money wisely!  :-D

The difference in location made Switch very easy.

Difficult Cover Up, 18 just didn't look right as the last two numbers.

Make Your Move should've been won, $287 was much too low for the camera package.

Tough choice between the fish bites and the dog biscuits as the last GP to pick in Grand Game, kudos to Jarmonica for picking the fish bites!

Rough playing of Pathfinder, but honestly Scott should've at least gotten the second number. Mean setups on the copper sleeve and hair dryer.

Am I the only one noticing a strategy in Cover Up that everybody seems to be missing?

Using today's game as an example, the first two digits should be set to 28. Sure, the 8 is wrong, but the 2 is right, and since it's fairly obvious that the 0 is the correct second digit, this gives the player a guaranteed correct digit on the second guess.  If the choices for the first digit are 1,2 and the second digit are, say, 0,7,9, then you select 1,0, as the first two digits are almost certainly 17, 19, or 20. Starting with 19 or 20 runs the risk of a first-guess loss, and I have seen that happen.

Nope.  That strategy has been discussed many times in various threads throughout the years.

I noticed Scott in the audience long before he was called down.  I remember thinking to myself how he looked like he'd be a fun contestant.  I saw him and he just genuinely looked like he was so happy to just be there.  I know many people do, but he stood out in my mind.

I'm happy Grand Game was won, and I'm glad to see $1.00 on the wheel.  I'll never actively pull for a contestant to lose, but Jarmonica came close to making me lose my religion.  My goodness, her behavior was irritating once she got up on stage.

I thought Drew jumping in the hot tub was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time!  That entire segment was great to watch!!

I know that, over the years, the show has had plenty of games that we affectionately called a "forced loss".  Switch was the closest thing I've seen to a "forced win" in a long time.  You'd really have to have your head in the sand to lose THAT setup.

It definitely looks like at least one overbid occurred and was edited out on the second IUFB before John’s winning $1 bid.

I was at this taping and there was an overbid!  Also, we had to redo Drew's entrance (so don't be mad if we didn't seem as enthusiastic as we should have!) :-D  It was much later in the show, so they made all the original contestants go back out there for continuity.
Wow, what a crazy and fun experience this was, even if I didn't get to come on down.

Make Your Move should've definitely been won; I would've switched around the cameras and water bottle.

That certainly was a mean Pathfinder setup, but at least it wasn't a total wipeout with one SP won.

Why did Drew's entrance have to be retaped?

I'm not sure they ever told us why!  George said something about "the magic of TV" and told us we needed to do it again.  Someone sitting beside me said it was an audio issue but I'm not sure how they knew.
