Our Price's Problems
« on: September 04, 2019, 09:45:21 PM »
Well, since it's been about 8 years since the last Philippine version of Price hit the airwaves, I'll jot down the things that made our version really bad (I MEAN NOT THAT BAD, FAIR ENOUGH) :

1. The tiny set.
Apparently, budget cuts. So what they did is to utilize a small set in the studios of ABS-CBN. and, if you can see on a video on YouTube, the "big" doors just fold in and reveal the car in the showcase. 😑

2. Bad imitation of the games.
The games prettt much looked like the American ones but cheaper.

3. The horrible wheel.
At first, it went okay, but it gradually broke down,  and the contestants are now required to spin it gently, WITHOUT EXERTING ANY EFFORT, 'cause it didn't have the grip the American wheel has! 😂

4. The announcers.
Rich Hardin and Rich Herrera, winners of the Asian Amazing Race, were chosen to announce the program, 'cause maybe they're named Rich?
Well, they're much fluent in English rather that Filipino, so the product descriptions are a mess.

5. And yes! The budget.
One thing. L. O. W.

What are some problems that your version had in their lifetime, and did they make up for it?
