...People actually pay $25 an hour for someone waiting in line? I know how I'm going to make money over the summer!  8-)

Water bottles can get pricey, so I think I'll go $21.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

Is that water bottle $21?

*BUZZ!*

No, and Johannes will take one step for every dollar you were off.

You were off by $9, what was the price?

Now comes your second test, 9821. How much does the STEM assembly kit cost?

Honestly? I'd go $40.

Of course I want you to be honest. What good would a dishonest guess do?

$40 he honestly says for the assembly kit, and he is…

*BUZZ!*

…incorrect, and Johannes will continue his journey further up the mountain of death!

And that was honestly a very good bid, only off by $4.

Now, I think you’re in decent shape here, 9821. Johannes can move 12 steps up the mountain safely, meaning you can miss this last prize by as much as $12 one way or another. For all the marbles now… what is the cost of the food processor?

I'll cover the bases and assume that it is worth more than the STEM kit. I'll go $49.

If that's like a $65 compressor, I will be really angry that I waited in line for quite a few days only to lose the ability for someone else to wait in line.

He guesses $49 is the price of the food processor, and I ask you, is he right?

*BUZZ!*

That’s quite all right, 9821, as long as you didn’t miss the price by more than $12, you’re a winner. Send Johannes on his final trek!

Sneaky planning on Cliffhangers, gamesurf.  ;)

Let's go $1350.
CSS: Exacta, 6/3/2019
Lifetime earnings: $1,896,732
Season 18 cash earnings: $629,243
Season 19 cash earnings: $490,110
FPG: 2019-2020 Finals Champion
...............................

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

Priac, signups for this show closed Tuesday. But we’d love to see you help out from the audience, and after this show is over you’re welcome to apply for the next show in this section!

Also, Patrick has about four hours left to place a bid.

A functional watch is better than one that’s dysfunctional, I suppose. :P

$601!

And poor Adam is one-upped yet AGAIN. I’m starting to think you all have it out for him. You monsters. Anyways, the Actual Retail Price of that watch is…

$960! And PayingTheRent snags the watch and the right to come up on stage!

PayingTheRent, I have not one, not two, not three, not five, but FOUR wonderful prizes for you! Show ‘em, Voice Guy!

*cue Big Banana*

It’s a wonderful donut machine, a set of designer handbags, sturdy exercise equipment, and a 4K TV!

First, this automatic donut maker can shape, fry, and flip potentially hundreds of donuts an hour! Adjustable timers allow you to control the donut template and oil temperature in order to make perfect donuts, every time.

Next, from Coach, this collection of designer handbags will allow you to flaunt your affluence! Because we have no Australian male models, but we’ve still gotta get that sweet, sweet soccer mom demographic browsing the HYO forums somehow!

And, from Body-Solid, get in shape with this new exercise equipment! Or don’t. The choice is yours. “It’s okay to accept the donut maker,” you’ll tell yourself. “I can always work it off later.” HA! The true battle is not against your body. It’s against your mind. Anyways, this crossover machine includes two 160 lb. weight stacks.

Finally, a new TV! This 75” Vizio 4K TV will allow you to watch The Price is Right for hours on end! Although you’ll need a chromecast or something to hook a web browser up to it or something in order to watch this show. Anyways, back to you, ‘surf!

PayingTheRent, your name suggests you might be responsible with money. You might believe that financial liberation comes from living within your means and by not spending more than you receive. Perhaps you think it is wise to avoid debt except for essential reasons, such as to complete your education or for an affordable home. Maybe you think following a budget leads to personal economic freedom.

IGNORE THIS ADVICE! The key to happiness is to spend, spend, spend!

For example, if you can spend at least $5,000 in just three purchases, I’ll repay your extravagance by giving you all FOUR prizes!

On the other hand, if you stay within your budget, I’ll take it as a sign you didn’t really want to win those prizes, and your frugality will be punished. We don’t reward smart shoppers in this game. Only irresponsible ones.

What item will you choose first?
