Per the timestamp on the post in question by DSB, the edit came prior to any succeeding posts.  Given that (plus the fact that there was an established pattern of $--,750), I’m OK with letting it slide this time.  CU might say different, idk...but for all intents and purposes, continue on with $60,750 so the show can keep moving forward.  Just don’t let it happen again. :)

Then that's what I'll do. Continuing on.

Next guess is $60,750.

For the first time, I get to say the retail price is lower.

You've narrowed down a range but you only have two guesses left.

I’m also coming from a position of sympathy here.  Bullseye I for a Cadillac is insulting. :P

What'd you expect, a GEM?  :P

Yes.  :P

With that said: $59,750.

Oh, and I truly appreciate the sympathy, Renty. And now that I know the rule, I can assure you it won't occur again.  :-)

OK, since I'm going to bed in a few, I'm just going to leave my final guess rn.

If my previous guess is HIGHER than the price, I'll say $60,630.

If it's LOWER, I'll say $59,630.

I'll wake up to the results, I suppose. Wish me luck, everyone. I'll need it.  :-D

Good luck!

But remember, you got here defending the honor of Golden Road, another “pick your favorite number” game that barely has anything to do with pricing

(although that base price sure fooled all of us) :D

I would have gone 59250/60250 and just prayed that the setup was lenient, but at this point, good luck on the 1/99 chance!

which means I have a 98/99 chance of making it to the Showcase round, but I seriously would rather have someone win the darn luxury car.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

With that said: $59,750.

There's your first of the last two guesses. $59,750...

Again, the retail price is lower.

Now, this is it. One more chance at the Caddy. What's your final bid?

I'll say $59,630.

*buzzer, losing horns*

Oof, you made a great run at it but you fell just a bit short. The price of that Cadillac was...

Too bad we couldn't throw in $50 worth of extra features. I'm sorry, DarkShockBro.

We're going to try one more time when we come back!

 :-o

...I was within $50? Based on that disgusting set-up, you should just give me the car after I was that close. You know, out of common courtesy. :P

Except you tried to cheat, so you pretty much got what you deserved.

We need to fill that empty spot one more time. Who will it be, George?

George: Not necessarily a name but a bunch of numbers: 123123123, come on down! You are the next contestant on The New Price is Right!

Me: 123's making his way down to Contestant's Row. Behind those doors is our next item up for bids, take a look!

George: A leather recliner!

From La-Z-Boy, the Eldorado high leg leather recliner pushes back with the elegance of a plain chair with its two-position reclining control. This Mission-style chair features exposed wood accents and high foam seat cushions for a classic style yet modern comfort.

What do you bid, 123123123?

Except I changed my guess before Patrick uploaded anything, my changed guess made things worse for me, and I lost. Either I just genuinely second-guessed myself, or I’m the worst ‘cheater’ in the world. I think the conclusion is obvious, cu. :P
