I've been observing the gameplay and the stats of all the active pricing games on the show. Some of the games needs some strategy to win, and some games really rely on pricing knowledge. Clock Game is the only one I've analyzed yet.
Clock Game
- Usually, the first prize is valued at $600 (average). Everyone knows that the optimal strategy is to increase or decrease the bid by $100, before getting a $100 range (i.e. $600-$700). Next is to cut the price in half, in this case $650. Then, the contestant must increase or decrease the bid by $10, before he/she can zero in on the price by going from $##1 to $##9. Of course, additional pricing knowledge can lead the contestant to a good range to start with.
Probability of Winning: If you know how the play the game, you'll surely win it. 😊

(BTW, analyzing the Big Wheel will take me a long time, so I just didn't try to do it. 😁)
