And the Kansas City Chiefs have clinched the AFC west by virtue of their own win over the Patriots 23-16 and the Raiders losing to the Titans 42-21.

My Cardinals shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers in a 23-17 loss to the Steelers. There were chances for the Cardinals to score more than 17 points today but untimely interceptions killed us and even our last last ditch effort was ended by an interception. :(
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Also, Kansas City ends New England's home winning streak at 21 games.

Green Bay might have a great record but they have also had an easy schedule this year.

Bad news for the 49ers as the Rams beat the Seahawks 28-12, preventing the 49ers from clinching a playoff berth. The Rams themselves are in the thick of the wild card race but remain a game behind the Vikings, who beat the Lions 20-7 earlier today.

Atlanta is an 11-point underdog against the 49ers this upcoming Sunday. WR Calvin Ridley is done for the season with an abdominal injury.

Tonight, Lamar Jackson broke Michael Vick's single season rushing yards record for a quarterback. Vick ran for 1039 yards in 2006, Jackson has 1103 rushing yards as of the end of tonight's game. Unlike Vick, Jackson can actually pass. Lamar Jackson threw 5 touchdown passes tonight and currently has 33 on the season, tied with Vinny Testaverde (1996) for the most touchdown passes in a Ravens season. He needs 1 more touchdown pass to take that record for himself. Congratulations to almost certain 2019 MVP and future Hall of Famer Lamar Jackson on your record setting season.

Vick was actually a really good thrower as well, so let's stop that right now. And let's also pump the brakes a tad on calling Lamar Jackson a future Hall of Famer this early. Yes, he's certainly the huge favorite for MVP right now, as some will likely see the last few weeks for the Seahawks as taking a hit to Russell Wilson's chances (not that Wilson wouldn't deserve MVP either).

Yeah, one season does not make a HoFer. See also: RG3's rookie season. If nothing else, all the talent in the world can be destroyed by injuries and a bad choice to play him when he's injured.

Vick completed only 56% of his passes and never had a 25 touchdown season. He only had 2 20 touchdown seasons and his career high was only 21.

My Cardinals get their 4th win of the season by beating the Browns 38-24 as Kenyan Drake runs for 4 touchdowns. It was nice to win the last home game of the season. :)

Meanwhile, the Rams loss to the Cowboys has clinched playoff berths for the Packers, Seahawks, and 49ers.

Can’t just look at numbers. Vick was just fine as a passer. Box score scouting is fun. You also have to take into consideration the passing attacks in the 2000s were nothing like they are today.

Who says upsets do happen? Well the Falcons did just that but not after tension booth reviews that could have made the difference. Anyway they took this one over the 49ers 29-22, but will that be enough for Dan Quinn to save his job?

The winning TD pass to Julio Jones was the nailbiter, but the ensuing kickoff and subsequent lateral fumble recovery for an irrelevant touchdown with :00 left (2 TDs in the space of 2 seconds of elapsed time) was just zany beyond belief.

At this point, I'd think Vick just misses Canton, but personal issues aside, his overall career on the field was certainly nothing to look down on.  And his role in lifting Atlanta up after they'd been basically irrelevant for two decades prior to his arrival can't be understated in the city either.

As noted above, pure numbers aren't always the key to greatness.  I for example feel Randall Cunningham should be inducted eventually given there's no question at least from my own point of view that he revolutionized the quarterback position in adding the running facet to it that really hadn't been there before leaguewide, and at his best was supremely talented as well.  Had Buddy Ryan been able to give him a better offensive line and better wide receivers, I think it's likely he would have hoisted a Lombardi Trophy at one point during his time in Philadelphia, especially with the defense he had on the other side--plus, he did have better numbers in key categories than both Phil Simms and Troy Aikman, both of whom he did beat regularly as well.

I always thought Steve Young, another dual threat who played at the same time as Randall Cunningham, was better than Cunningham, though I do think Cunningham has a legitimate Hall of Fame argument. As for the Cunningham era Eagles never winning a Super Bowl, 4 things worked against them: not signing James Lofton in 1989 when he was a free agent, the tragic death of Jerome Brown, in 1992, losing Reggie White to free agency in 1993, and Cunningham himself missing most of the 1991 season due to injury. 1991 was Cunningham's best shot at a ring. If Cunningham himself doesn't get hurt in 1991, he may well have gotten his ring that year.

Speaking of numbers, tonight Drew Brees surpassed Peyton Manning to become the NFL'S all time in touchdown passes with 541 at the end of the night. Brees currently holds the career triple crown of passing being the all time in passes completed, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. However, with Tom Brady sitting at 538 touchdowns, it's a bit murky which one will end up the all time leader in touchdowns passes.
