No Back to School episode this season?

I know in the past they would usually have a back-to-school themed episode in either late August or early September, before the new season started. It doesn't look like it's happening this year. Though I just noticed there was a new episode on 7/16, though my DVR recorded on 7/17 instead. Was that an episode that was pre-empted or something?

That was a first-run episode, but not the BTS episode. It was episode 8553K, intended to air on July 17. It aired a day earlier, supposedly because of the Robert Mueller testimony that was scheduled for the 17th.

Something just occurred to me: Is it possible that 8553 was pushed back to the 16th, so that 8801 could be aired on the 17th, thus being pre-empted by the Mueller testimony? Maybe, for some reason, they didn't want us to see it? (Crazy theory, I know, and I doubt it too, but that's all it is, a theory.)

I think they stopped the summer "Back to School" episodes when they started Kids Week, which has a "college episode" on Friday.

Also, IIRC, one of the Back to School episodes was a teachers' episode, which is also done separately now.
