OK, so Omni La Mansion del Rio is one of the more upscale hotels in San Antonio. Figure at least $370/night for that, and that's just regular booking rates. I don't know if TPIR uses rack rates or not, but there you go. The museum tickets would depend on which museum they're referring to.

I really thought baggy was going to won today and I would have lost in the exact same way. I was genuinely stunned when the yams were revealed.

That was a fantastic Gridlock segment today. The deep blue on the Kia Forte was really nice. To see it won with an Exacta  was awesome!

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Very very few lineups are acceptable to have two quickies in a row, and this certainly wasn't one of them. Very concerned.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Coming or Going and Switch? were blown, and pretty bad.

However, a Gridlock! perfecto was the big highlight of the show.

tpiradam's taping report #4 of 4.

I don't remember much from this taping. I had been up since 430AM so by this point I was lucky enough if I remembered my name. Our group was down to four at this point.

I'm not sure if he intended for it to come off this way but Michael came off as a bit of a sore loser. After losing his pricing game and leaving after the Showcase Showdown he seemed royally pissed.

Kathy was sitting across from me in the last lineup and we were chatting about how we love the show. She mentioned her interview about how it went and how she wore nice bright colours to stand out. I tried helping her with a few bids while she was in the row but just like the rest of the week I was pretty bad. Malika was a lot of fun. She and her son Andre had attended that mornings taping along with Tuesdays taping so we sorta got to know them. She was in our interview group and was pure enjoyment and excitement. Jessica was seated in line near us too. She and her friend Kathryn were a lot of fun and it was pure joy to see her name get called. We all celebrated and hugged it out afterwards in the contestant waiting area and welcomed her and Kathy to our $300 group.

Until next season...?
