Its a miracle! The center slot has finally been hit in Million-Dollar Plinko. Also a nice touch for them to play Dig We Must after it was hit.

Congrats to Michael on being the biggest winner in daytime history.

Finally, a center slot hit in Plinko! I knew it had to happen one of those times.

Also, I think it was nice of them to throw in a rolling jackpot equal to the prizes won in the last five games.

Wow, Mort Kamins' record on $ale of the Century ($249,982) is broken after over 35 years.  Congratulations to Michael for becoming the new all-time American network daytime game show winnings record-holder, and the first person to break the quarter-million mark on The Price is Right in daytime!

The fact He won so much money is as if He’s getting the prizes tax free since the taxes will deduct only a fraction of the cash winnings

I’m also impressed with the progressive jackpot, which is a new innovation .

Couldn't hit the edit button in time sorry for the double post. I have to say I like the added bonus of the jackpot. It makes things a tad more exciting. I just hope with today's big win that the rest of the week will be ho hum.

Also of note Michael is the first male record daytime winnings holder since February 1988.

^ It's calculated by the cash value of any of the prizes from the pricing games won on each show. :)

Wow...that's quite an impressive win by Michael. Since someone brought up the taxes, here's what he's going to have to pay:

1. California 7% tax if he doesn't live in CA: 7% of $262,743 = $18,392.01
2. Federal tax. If he makes no other money, then looking at the tax tables, federal tax on $262,743 = $67,153.55. Of course, this doesn't take into account his standard or itemized deduction that he can take, which would decrease his tax, but on the flip side, he's probably making money from whatever his job is, so his federal tax bill would increase from that. So let's assume those cancel each other out.

Thus, his tax bill is about $85,000--$18,000 will come out of the check CBS sends him and the other $67,000 will be due on his federal taxes next year.  That means he gets to keep $145,000+ of cash ($200,000 from Plinko + $30,000 jackpot - $85,000 taxes) and all of his prizes. Dang.

NOTE:  This is not an invitation to debate what constitutes a "win" in Plinko.

I think it's hilarious that Michael "lost" and only got $202,000.

If I wasn't out to satisfy all parties, it would be a W in my book (so would any 10K hit). However, I'm not going to anger all parties.
