CSS Results for 10/24/2019 (Game 22)
« on: October 24, 2019, 01:11:12 PM »
When I was checking in on results via phone, I was wondering why people were so excited about Phat's bids. I mean, his 504 worked out and he got the right thousands digit on both today. Now I see with those differences what occurred... CSS is a funny game, isn't it?

JohnF7 stops a hard/soft with a mere $1 diference on SC1. This was the second SC this week to be 219x4, but man, you guys going aggressive with the high endings... unfortunately 9821 had excellent QSW bids but was late. The clock is pretty stable right now, so 56:30 is the deadline!
S4x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Ways I've screwed up CSS within the first five weeks, not even with actual pricing:

Thinking blind bidding was a good idea, and karma gets me on a 50-case
Hand slipping when doing bids to type a 17k bid instead of a 27k DSW
Submitting too late for missing a combined $136 difference QSW

At this rate, I feel like I'm going to somehow blow a 8x next week because I mix a Nissan Versa with a Nissan Leaf.

Also, Phat also just wins CSS for this decade.
Reminding you about 1932... when Richard Dawson was born. I will remember $19.32, even after he Checked-Out. Feud will never be the same without you.

HYO total winnings: $117,234 + Canadian dollars

Real life winnings: $300 + $800 in gift cards
