Suggestion- If Stack the Deck continues to have this horrible streak, can they change the car to a car that they would use in Golden Road or 3 Strikes.  I hate the see this game lost every time, they need to make the grocery items somewhat easier.

In today's set up, I would have missed the first one, but the other two seemed okay.

I’m totally fine with that, honestly. Stack the Deck’s difficulty is not necessary for the value of the car at stake.

Unrelated, but I love the narrow, $8 win on Range Game.

I could see this becoming a reality, given the difficulty of the setups.

The thing about Stack the Deck is that to a reasonable chance at winning, you have to get at least 2 out 3 GPs right and pick the 10s and 1s digits as your free digits. A skilled pricer may be able to get the 10000s, 1000s, and 100s digits right, but the 10s digit and the 1s digit are pretty random digits in the price of car. (BTW, the 10s digit being a random digit in the price of car is why Switcheroo is more a random crap shoot than a test of pricing skill.)

It seemed that today's setup was meant for only 1 pick to won with the 3rd set of GPs, which is exactly what happened. It's quite a long shot to win Stacky with only 1 free digit. In today's case, knowing that the 10s digit was a 1 would've been helpful as 2 would've fallen into place as 10000s digit.

Owing to its difficulty, I too, would be fine with Stack the Deck being played for more expensive/higher end cars.

Man, Maurice waited JUST long in Rangey to go to Fiji.

TBH, BOTH the computer and the ATV were more expensive than I expected in Mathy but I still would have won.

Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Stack the Deck is only difficult because they are making it difficult.

If they would set it up properly, it wouldn’t be much more difficult than any other car game.

They use deceptive GPs in this game on purpose as a budget saver.

Playing it for more expensive cars but keeping the GPs just as difficult wouldn’t solve anything, it’s a “fix” for something they are intentionally trying to break.
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.
