I'm amazed that Drew made his inspiration putt, but Katie couldn't get the ball in the hole after two tries.

Why? Drew's made plenty of inspiration putts before. Contestants have missed on two tries plenty of times before. Nothing amazing (or even noteworthy) about it.

Why so much attitude?  Drew definitely misses more than he makes so sinking one is exciting.  Calm down a bit - your tone all over the board here seems negative so often.

Forgive my unwillingness to coddle those that post just to post. If my tone "seems negative," then Teddy's posts always seem like meaningless drivel because he doesn't seem to do much besides state the obvious.

With Drew making his putt in Hole in 1 , he has now made at least 2 putts in one season for only the 3rd time ever ( last season where he made 2 , and season 43 where he made 5 )

I'll just say that Hole in One was brutal. The bean dip fooled me ... wasn't even a premium brand which might have gone for $3.99. (I suspected it was $1.99 myself.) And that the wipes would be maybe at least $2.49.

Thing was, she nearly hit the shot on the ricochet. To anyone who says that they were amazed that the contestant was unable to sink the putt either attempt -- don't be. But then again, plenty of contestants who've been made to start at the first line have made it. Just some bad luck with the bean dip, IMO.

Have you checked out Teddy's host your own? Without passing judgment on his posts anywhere else in the fora, his posts there are most definitely not "meaningless drivel," which makes your using the word "always" false by quite a bit.

...are you seriously trying to quibble over semantics? If so, HYO isn't exactly the foundation of a strong argument, for you or for Teddy. It's been shut down for more of my time here than not, and I recall that when it was being considered for a revival, Teddy immediately jumped up and said "great, now I can continue hosting my shows!", as if that was its entire purpose. Let's also not forget the thread that was basically Teddy spamming large-format (and in my opinion rather crude) graphics for an HYO after being told several times to resize them, which was locked because it was felt that he was posting just to post.

So to answer your question--no, I don't spend time in HYO. That's not why I come to this site. I don't begrudge those who do, but I make my judgement based on whether people contribute in a constructive way in the parts of the site that deal with the real thing. And based on what I see in TTiR and OiLF, Teddy posts just to post quite a bit, and those posts do always seem to be meaningless drivel.

Now if you'd care to debate any other word choices I made, you can do it alone because I'm not biting.

I didn't quibble over semantics. You're the one who said "always" without explaining that you don't check out the HYO section. It's not my job to guess your assumptions.

Come on guys, there's no need for this argument. Judging what is "posting just to post" is the mods' work, not ours. Let's please stop this before this gets locked unnecessarily.
