Slight typo in Make Your Move: the cameras were $740, not $470.

Something tells me that this was the preempted Wednesday episode, as Hunter was the guest model here.

No, actually, it really was $470. (Which I was quite shocked about; I was sure he had lost.)

Also, Pick-a-Pair should've been won. No way that Instant Coffee was $1.99!

Whoops! I was going off the recap on tpirstats.com, which I assumed was true since, according to that same website, there hadn't been a three digit prize worth less than $500 in Make Your Move since Feb. 19, 2010, almost 10 years ago. My mistake!

So we've pivoted from people not watching the show to people not watching the show and suggesting corrections they themselves hadn't even seen. Beautiful.

Pack it in, boys.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Do we know which episode Hunter’s mother appeared on? The show posted a clip of her appearance on Twitter this week. The clip says April 1990 on it.

LiteBulb’s comment is perfectly legitimate. I myself haven’t seen a small prize in those kind of games be below $500 in quite a while either.

LiteBulb’s comment is perfectly legitimate. I myself haven’t seen a small prize in those kind of games be below $500 in quite a while either.

First of all, LiteBulb88's comment was not legitimate. First he said this:

Slight typo in Make Your Move: the cameras were $740, not $470.

Then, when he was called out on the fact that his correction was wrong, said this:

Whoops! I was going off the recap on tpirstats.com, which I assumed was true since, according to that same website, there hadn't been a three digit prize worth less than $500 in Make Your Move since Feb. 19, 2010, almost 10 years ago. My mistake!

Not one bit of this is "legitimate." Yes, tpirstats.com said what it said and I'm sure their stats are accurate--but publicly correcting the recap, when it appears he hadn't actually watched the episode to see what the actual price was, is ludicrous at best.

You may not like how I responded to it, and that's fine, you're not obligated to--but nothing about my tone changes the fact what I was responding to is completely indefensible.

I really don't see what the big deal is. It was a simple mistake that LiteBulb acknowledged.

Yes it was, and yes, he did--but Torgo said it perfectly: "people not watching the show and suggesting corrections they themselves hadn't even seen."

It's common sense--don't try to correct the recap of a show you don't watch. An assumption based on content from a third party is no substitute for firsthand knowledge. (Again--I don't question tpirstats.com's conclusions, but that's not the point here.) If LiteBulb88 felt that the recap was incorrect, but hadn't seen the actual show, the first step isn't to see what tpirstats.com had to say, it's to wait until the show becomes available for streaming, or ask someone who actually saw it. Then, with something factual in hand, recommend a change to the recap based on that.
