I'm noticing Secret X, a handful of playings when NOT played for a car, people only earned 1 X.  They are really making the contestants earn it with some tough SPs.

The producers already make Secret "X" easy enough by very rarely placing the Secret "X" on the bottom. Contestants also rarely place their "X"s to cover the bottom row. If you make both SP's gimmes, the game is essentially an auto-win since the X is so unlikely to be at the bottom.   Now, with one easy and one closer to 50/50, there is going to be at least a little suspense in these playings.  The producer setting the games up these days is definitely is great at what they do.

Why don't they play 10 Chances more often?  It's a classic and Drew likes the game.  Most contestants don't know the zero rule these days so as long as that still holds true the win % will never get too high for the budget.

Probably because it takes too long to play.
