Time is Money:

:headbang:

Aside from that, what a weird Tags setup. Not often we get 2T/2F. And thank goodness Michelle saved us from a skunked show!

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

It was painful to watch TiM. Anthony looked totally lost.

I just noticed that all of the "Time is Money" dollar amounts are even thousands.  Is the dollar amount now counting down differently than it used to?

Without watching the episode, I think Adam thought it was pointless to actually pause the video and guess the exact amount of money after each button press.

I don't have the ability to pause the video. My family doesn't invest much in that technology.

Freeze Frame: Jackson Hole is not far from LA at all, so when I heard all the extra things they added to the trip, I figured they did that to get the trip just over the $5,000 mark.

Five Price Tags: Yay for a contestant who was willing to guess TRUE on items in this game!! Too bad he ran into the rare 2T/2F setup :(.

Time is Money: This playing was very much "What NOT to do when playing this game."

Any #: Great start by Linda, but she fell for the 0 trap.

Pushover: If you know they don't give away prizes in one prize games worth less than $5,000, then this setup is easy. No way that game room was almost $10,000.

Today's episode had lots of coincidences galore! First Vernon, who won $7 and some change in Any Number when he first appeared on the show with Bob in 1992-93, loses out on another car in Five Price Tags, even though he didn't go the all-false route like many contestants do. And then Any Number is played, and Linda gets the piggy bank too.

Is this the first time someone has failed to get all five GPs in place within the 10-second time limit in Time is Money? That was painful as hell to watch.

Not only does Michelle prevent the skunk in the last PG of the day, she also wins her Showcase, even though Vernon made it to the Showcase this time (I wonder how he did on the Wheel his first time around?).

Not the first. However, I think this is the furthest someone has ever been from putting all 5 items on the tables. Not that it mattered, as it looks like he would have put the Tone in the wrong spot anyway.

Ladies and gentlemen, we submit for your review the picture-perfect example of how *NOT* to play Time is Money. I think the guy spent 8 out of his first 10 seconds asking the audience about one prize. I knew right then and there he was dead in the water.

Anyone know which episode Vernon appeared on within the 1992-93 season?
