Cruel.

Just cruel how Plinko and Pass the Buck ended.

Can't do too much else, especially since both pricing segments were well-played.

Not a true WIPEOUT if at least one of the small prizes was won in Plinko, but a $0 cash total would contribute towards a skunked show. Still painful to watch regardless.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping for at least one to get some money, but unfortunately poor Gabriel ended up getting black-balled. When was the last time that happened?

The last time someone dropped 4 chips in the $0 in Plinko: the all Plinko show, 9/27/13 (Season 42 was also the last time a wipeout in this game occurred, twice in that season)

Well, the Plinko wipeout was certainly a depressing way to start the show. Plinko is one of those games that must be won (or at least one $10,000 hit) to be exciting, otherwise it's dull and/or a downer.

Tough luck in Pass the Buck, but at least she did get $3,000 for her troubles.

Easy Balance Game, it was unlikely the trip would be $20 or $22,000.

The 9011K was just Adam's blind guess, but analyzing the photo for today's episode reveals that this is 9003K, which would mean this was supposed to air on 1/29, and was taped 11/11

bonkers, to answer your question, impeachment happened and threw everything more out of whack than usual.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

The calendar is also completely out of whack. 8961 ended up airing the next day, on the fifth.

Today's show can't be that because Manuela was on maternity leave when they taped 8961 ( 8961 was taped October 16 )

I think the OP misread the schedule. 8961K was originally scheduled for 12/30, but got moved to 12/4 (and then to 12/5), which was originally going to be part of the block of four repeats that follow Cyber Monday. The schedule has 8961K's airdate as 12/4, but it is still listed in its original 12/30 location.

Man, that Plinko was a downer. On top of that, Gabriel had a nice respectable 75 on the wheel and only managed a 10 on his spin-off spin. I was really rooting for him to make it to the showcase after his game!
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

All the more reason why I think the $0 spots should be retired!
