Very sad. I admit I only knew Orson from Match Game, but I have no doubt of his talent in other ventures. RIP.

I believe he also lent his voice to one or two Garfield specials back in the 80s as well.

One of the most popular and best rodeo clowns in Pro Rodeo passed last night. Lecile Harris passed in his sleep last night. He had just finished working the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, MS. Happy trails, cowboy; until we meet again.

Larry Tesler, the computer scientist who is credited with creating the copy, cut, and paste commands, passed away at the age of 74 on Monday.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

There should be an album of Bob Cobert themes (are you listening, Varese Sarabande?), including the full version of his PIR. The Best of TV Quiz & Game Show Themes is missing the first quarter.
