One of the most legendary stock contractors in the world of rodeo, Roy Honeycutt, passed away at the age of 82. Roy was the owner of Honeycutt Rodeo Co. and his bucking bulls and bucking horses have been featured at the National Finals Rodeo for several years. Always sad to see one of the stock contractors pass.

RIP Joe Diffie. I love his songs "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox if I Die" and "John Deere Green."

The first time I heard John Deere Green was at a rodeo, as it's a pretty common song they play before the rodeo starts. I loved it from the second I heard it. I bought the minute I got home on iTunes and put in on my iPod (that's how long ago that was!).
