"First"—the earliest. Tom was gray, much furrier, and displayed much more cat-like mannerisms (i.e., walking on all fours)

"Second"—the ones we're most familiar with. By this time, the MGM logo and opening title card changed mostly from red to blue. (Some re-issues of either series used the opposite logo and title.)

"Third"—started circa 1955, following the retirement of Fred Quimby. Now filmed in CinemaScope; used three-panel opening title graphic; Mammy Two-Shoes was permanently retired; Tom's owners were now a young white couple, whose faces were fully depicted

Thank you for clarifying, RJSchhex. I, personally, refer to the entire Hanna-Barbera era as one generation and failed to take into consideration that one can further break down the Hanna-Barbera shorts into three generations.

It can be truly said Bishop helped make the Disney Channel special in its 80s and 90s prime, as his intershow promos were smooth and entertaining and got you ready for what was going to air.

While others made have had the initial idea of the Lampoon, Simmons' guiding hand was heavily behind the magazine at its peak, as well as all of the good Lampoon films, and his efforts in giving many comic writers their start--including a young John Hughes--should be much appreciated.

Very sad to hear of the passing of the man who is easily the most identifiable figure in Miami Dolphins history. Coach Shula is on my Mount Rushmore of NFL coaches along with Vince Lombardi, Bill Belichck, and Paul Brown. RIP Coach Shula.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.
