That playing of Lucky 7, I would've cut it much closer than Carley! Even if she had said 7, which is what I would've said, she still would've lost painfully nonetheless. But, I definitely give props to Randall! Especially since I would've botched it on the iron because I thought that it was $60 and nowhere near cheaper than that! Thankfully, he went in the right direction and won everything! Of course, I knew that he botched it with his bid in the Showcase so at least Carley got a car regardless, let alone a more expensive one than the one she played for in Lucky 7!

For only the 4th time ever , all 3 prizes were won in Rat Race. The other 3 times it happened, all occurred during Season 39.

One thing TPIR did at the end of the show was to put in the closing credits that today's episode was taped before the bushfires in Australia and mentioned how to help in the relief effort.

Bad enough Leisa put the gum in the mailbox in Pay the Rent, but also the 2nd and 3rd most expensive items together below the attic. Should've been Ice cream - pasta and waffles - conditioner and gum - ointment

A little surprising they didn't hold off on this episode for a bit because of the Australia trip in the Showcase.

If they wasn't promoting time sensitive material ( in this case ET's 10,000th episode ) , they probably would of bump this show to another date.

I think it should be a little more than that if Rat Race were a million dollar game on a MDS. Maybe not only get all the top three rats, but also predict which of the three will finish first.

I found 3 different solutions, all with very different arrangements of the 5 lower priced items (as opposed to the typical setup where 2 or 3 of them may be interchangeable)

Attic:  OINTMENT = 9.59
2nd floor:  GUM + CONDITIONER = 1.99 + 6.99 = 8.98
1st floor:  ICE CREAM + WAFFLE MIX = 5.49 + 3.29 = 8.78
Mailbox:  PASTA = 4.49

Attic:  OINTMENT = 9.59
2nd floor:  GUM + CONDITIONER = 1.99 + 6.99 = 8.98
1st floor:  PASTA + WAFFLE MIX = 4.49 + 3.29 = 7.78
Mailbox:  ICE CREAM = 5.49

Attic:  OINTMENT = 9.59
2nd floor:  PASTA + WAFFLE MIX = 4.49 + 3.29 = 7.78
1st floor:  ICE CREAM + GUM = 5.49 + 1.99 = 7.48
Mailbox:  CONDITIONER = 6.99

Anyone notice that Devin pressed the button very hard to start the Rat Race?  His button press appeared to jump the blue rat partially off its track.
