Am I the only one that feels that these cheap showcases kinda cheapen the feel of dream car week? I mean I know it’s no big money week but ending the show with showcases barely more expensive than some of the cars offered (aside from the dream cars of course) seems very boring to me.

Monique: What a day! The producers made 5PT a bit easier by having 3 false and 1 true instead of the usual 3 true and 1 false, but still impressive. Very happy for her.

Random question: when was the last time they had two true car games in a half?

That playing was also only two playings ago where there were three Falses. The only other playing between then and now was on November 3, 2017. This is also only the second playing so far this season to have more than one False.

Nice Navigator win today. And I know it’s not important and not Drew’s style (it’s more Bob’s style), but I would’ve liked to have seen some sort of on-air acknowledgement from the host of the fact that all 4 price tags were illuminated. Perhaps something like “What a beau-ti-ful sight!” :)

No, I agree. It's great to see such a huge prize offered (and won!), but after you watch that segment there's nothing left that makes it a "special" episode. It overshadows everything else to the degree that I feel a little bad that another contestant is "only" getting a chance to win a pool table and designer accessories because they made the mistake of getting out of the row too early.

(That's part of what made Monday's episode so fantastic! But I get that they can't do five days of that a year.)

It really should be the norm during this week to offer a $30,000ish car in the showcases just to give somebody else a chance to win something really nice. Don't end the show on a Kia Soul during "Dream Car Week".

Yeah, I know they technically offer BMWs to all six contestants in the SCSD, but c'mon, that's 1 in 200 odds of winning one.
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."
